A Josefina comparison study!

Yea!! My 1997 Josefina arrived today! She arrived in a white banded box. When I took her out, I was stunned! She is SO different from my 2005 Josie!! Her eyes are SO much bigger, her eyebrows are closer to her eyes, her skin is a bit darker, her face is shaped differently and her features are more pronounced giving her a more 'real' look IMO. I intended to sell the one I didn't like as much, but I don't know what to do! They are both beautiful in their own way! Here is a small album I put together of the two of them:

Wowee! They are both beautiful! If I were you, I would have to keep both. They are so different. I had no idea.

I have one Josefina. I love her, but she arrived with a lot of scuffs and really messy hair.

She cleaned up beautifully, but I put her back in box. I have had trouble warming up to her because of her original condition, if that makes any sense. No, I suppose it doesn't, lol.

Anyhow, I took her back out and looked at her after I saw yourbeautiful photos. I think we may just be able to get along better now. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Congratulations on your PM beauty! I opened mine up on Friday, and she's gorgeous! I can't stop admiring her.

I can't wait until Caroline's Traveling Josefina comes in the summer so I can compare the two in person.

Wow, I had no idea there was such a difference! Seeing them side by side really brings that out. I agree that the PM is a little more real looking, and next to the PM the newer Josefina looks a little surprised with those eyebrows, but she is still darling. Congrats!

They are both beautiful, but the PM one actually sort of took my breath away. I think it's those gorgeous eye lashes.

Thanks for looking, girls! I'm not sure how the differences appear in photos, but in person they are like night and day! I can't make a decision, and I love them both, but I know hubby is expecting me do get rid of one of them. AAAHHH! Josie is my second favorite to Kit, so I spend a lot of time with her! I have been trying, trying, trying to get Josie her piano and farm, but no luck yet! Anna, I hope you bond with your Josie! She's wonderful!

Yup! Your 97 looks just like mine from the same year. [img]smile.gif[/img] I never really bonded well with mine though. She has the smallest collection of my AGs not counting Nellie and Elizabeth...only 3 outfits and one accessory set.
